Key Points

  • A method of categorizing a species associated with a segment of double-stranded DNA
  • Accurately determines DNA barcodes (protein tags) using a cylindrical nanopore system
  • Can be used to accurately determine barcodes from experimental data using single- or multi-nanopore platforms

Abstract

The University of Central Florida invention relates to methods for measuring DNA barcodes using single or multi‐nanopore platforms. Barcodes are calculated by observing the detail motion of the dsDNA segments in between the barcodes using Brownian dynamics simulation.
