Hanging Corner Shelf Assembly

US Patent D744,258

For office cubicles, bathroom stalls, shower stalls, dressing room, and more

Technical Details

Contemporary stalls, such as those in bathrooms and dressing rooms, fail to provide any convenient means by which articles can be hung or placed while being used. If a hook on the back of the door, for hanging jackets or purses, does exist, there are often multiple other articles or items that one needs to set down while in the stall which cannot be accommodated by the hook on the back of the stall door. Additionally, the hook is often out of the reach of those who have physical limitations, and while many stalls may provide handicap accessibility, particularly in reference to the shower, sink, and toilets located therein, there is often no usable space for a disabled individual to place their belongings while in the stall. Therefore, to provide a sanitary location for one’s belongings and increase accessibility to those with physical limitations, it is desirable to provide a shelf that meets these needs and also complies with the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
